有一种担当叫踔厉奋发，有一种大爱叫跨越山海，有一种情怀叫命运与共。天有灾，时亦难，第21届国际潮团联谊年会筹建工作一经开始，便遇全球性疫情，至今2年过去了，尚未看到疫情日子的尽头，这注定是历史上最艰难的、最特别的年会。
面对全球疫情的大爆发，抗疫服务志愿团在此刻应运而生，勇担使命。2020年3月15日，国际潮团总会、第21届国际潮团联谊年会筹备委员会、海南省潮商经济促进会再次发起倡议“全球潮人·同心战疫”，并正式宣布成立抗疫服务志愿团！并且呼吁各地潮团、潮人侨领、会员单位等爱心人士共同行动，伸出援助之手，让海外潮人感受到来自“家乡人”的温暖。
2020年9月23日，在康芝药业海南总厂举行捐赠联合国开发计划署抗疫物资发车仪式，并通过“云签署”的方式由国际潮团总会与联合国开发计划署完成“线上战略合作签约仪式”。在全球30多个国家和地区的共同参与直播见证下，向联合国开发计划署捐赠100万个口罩。这正式开启国际潮团与联合国开发计划署的友好合作关系，也是全球疫情爆发以来对外公益捐赠的一次重大举措。
灾害无情，人间有爱；命运与共，行胜于言。据不完全统计，截至目前，抗疫服务志愿团共筹集善款约近1000万元，一次性口罩约500万个及其他一系列必备的抗疫物资。第21届国际潮团联谊年会筹备委员会在关键时刻发挥出强有力的号召作用及崇高的爱国精神，抗疫服务志愿团充分展现出新时代潮属社团的责任与担当！在我看来，这是我们应该做的事情！也是必须做的事情！

There is a sense of responsibility called vigorous and determined endeavora kind of love crossing the sea and mountains and a kind of feelings community of shared future.We may face nature disasters and difficulties occasionally.A qlobal epidemic was encountered by the Preparatory Committee of the 21st Teochew International Convention when the preparation work ofannual convention is initiating. To date,the 21st Teochew International Convention is bound to be the most difficult and specialone in history because there is noending tendency for the epidemic after two years later.
Facing the outbreak of qlobal epidemic the Anti-epidemic volunteer team are born on demand to shoulder the mission. On March 15.2020the Teochew International Federationthe Preparatory Committee of the 2lst Teochew International Convention and the Teochew Economic Promotion Association of Hainan Province launched the initiative ofGlobal Teochew, Fighting the epidemic Together’again and officially announced the establishment of the Anti-epidemic Volunteer Team. Meanwhile, we called on the local Teochew groups leaders of overseas Teochew groupsmembers and all the warmhearted to take joint actions and lend a helpina hand so that overseas Teochew can feel the warmth from hometown.
On September 23.2020.departure ceremony of anti-epidemic materials denoted for UNDP was held in the Hainan headquarters of Honz Pharmaceutical CoLtdand the signing ceremony of strategic cooperation between Teochew International Federation and UNDP was completed via online. We donated one million medical masks for UNDPunder the witness of more than30countries and regions around the worldwhich officially creates the friendlyand cooperative relationship with UNDP and this is also a significant measure of public donation since the outbreak of the globalepidemic
The disaster is heartless.but man has emotions.Actions speak louder than words and we build a community of shared future for mankind.According to incomplete statisticsnearly 10 million RMB5 million disposable medical masks and a series of other necessary anti-epidemic supplies have been raised by the Anti-epidemic Volunteer Team so far.The Preparatory Committee of the 21st Teochew International Convention has plaved astrona callina role and show nobly patriotic spirit at the critical moment the Anti-epidemic Volunteer Team has fully demonstrateditsresponsbility of Teochew committee in the new era. In my opinion this is what we should and must do!
